Who We Are

It has been a year of renewal, activity and unexpected challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. There have been numerous examples over the last few months of lawyers and justice system partners moving quickly to provide services to protect the interests of clients and members of the public while respecting public health directives.

The statements in the report are extracts from the Financial Statements, these should be read in conjunction with the notes found in the full audited Financial Statements.

These monitoring reports provide an overview of the responsibilities & work of the Education & Credentials, Equity & Access and Professional Responsibility departments.

I have seen lawyers move very quickly to interact with their clients remotely, to build networks of support, to advocate on behalf of their clients for access to the courts. I have seen lawyers find creative ways in which they can meet their client’s needs - therein lie the opportunities.
